Betting Rules

Version 1.1Last updated: 23 October 2026

These rules explain how bets are accepted and settled. They form part of the Terms and Conditions. Where a specific sport or racing rule conflicts with a general rule, the specific rule applies.

1. General

All prices are decimal. A return includes the stake: A$10 at 2.50 returns A$25.00, a profit of A$15.00.

Bets are taken online through the site before the event starts. We do not take in-play or phone bets.

A bet is accepted only on the prices shown on your receipt.

2. Price changes

If a price changes before acceptance, you are asked to accept the new price unless you have chosen in the betslip to accept higher prices or any change automatically.

3. Singles and Multis

A Single is one selection. A Multi combines selections from different, independent events; every leg must win. The total odds of a Multi are the product of the accepted prices.

If a leg of a Multi is void, it is removed and the Multi is settled on the remaining legs.

4. Same Game Multi and Same Race Multi

These combine outcomes from one match or one race and are priced as a single bet by our pricing service. The price is not the product of the individual prices.

If a leg is void, the bet is re-priced on the remaining legs where possible, or voided.

5. Racing: fixed prices

Win pays if the runner finishes first. Place pays if it finishes in the first three (in fields of eight or more) or the first two (in fields of five to seven).

Bets on a scratched runner are void and the stake is returned. Bets settle on the official result; a provisional result is not final.

If a race is abandoned, all bets on it are void.

6. Racing: exotics

Exacta, Quinella, Trifecta and First Four are pooled bets. Dividends are declared after the race. A flexi bet receives the declared dividend multiplied by the flexi percentage.

7. Dead heats

If two or more runners finish level for a paying position, the stake is divided by the number of runners in the dead heat and the full price is paid on that part. For example, A$10 at 4.00 on a runner that dead-heats for first with one other returns A$20.00.

8. Blended

A Blended bet pays at one price if any one of the selected runners wins.

9. Sports: main markets

Head to Head and Match Result are settled on the result at the end of normal time unless the market says otherwise. If a Head to Head market without a draw option ends in a draw, dead-heat rules apply: half the stake is paid at the full price and the other half is lost. Handicaps and totals include half-points so that ties cannot occur.

10. Player markets

A player who does not take part makes that selection void.

11. Postponed and cancelled events

If an event does not start within the time set for that sport, or is cancelled, bets are void unless the market was already decided.

12. Official results and settlement time

Racing bets settle on the official result declared by the racing control body (for example the stewards’ “all clear”); sports bets settle on the result published by the sport’s governing body or official competition organiser.

We aim to settle a bet within an hour of the official result. If the official result is not available yet, the bet stays open until it is.

13. Resettlement

If a result is changed by the official body after settlement within the period its own rules allow, bets are re-settled and the change appears in the bet’s history. We do not re-settle for any other reason.

14. Obvious errors

An obvious error is a price clearly out of line with the market at the time, a price offered after the result was known, or a market showing the wrong event or participant. A bet accepted because of an obvious error is settled at the correct price we would have offered at that time or, if there was none, voided with the stake returned.

We notify you by email and in My Bets when we correct or void a bet, with the reason. You can dispute the decision through the complaints process in the Terms.

15. Related outcomes

Selections that depend on each other cannot be combined in a standard Multi. Use a Same Game Multi or Same Race Multi instead, where the pricing service accounts for the link between outcomes.

16. Limits

The most you can stake on one bet is shown when you try to exceed it. Limits may vary by market.
