Terms and Conditions
Version 1.1Effective date: 23 October 2026Last updated: 23 October 2026
Operator
betprofessor.co is operated by Giant Bet Pty Ltd.
Australian Business Number (ABN): 80 667 202 806
Australian Company Number (ACN): 667 202 806
Licensing authority:
Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC)
Licence number:
Licence VIC-BM-2023-0461
These terms govern your use of BetProfessor (betprofessor.co) and any account you open with us. Please read them together with the Betting Rules, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.
1. Operator details and regulatory information
BetProfessor is an online racing and sports betting service operated by Giant Bet Pty Ltd (ABN 80 667 202 806, ACN 667 202 806). “We”, “us” and “our” mean Giant Bet Pty Ltd.
We hold Licence VIC-BM-2023-0461, issued by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC), and offer betting under the law of Victoria, Australia. The same details appear in the operator card above and in the website footer.
2. Scope, definitions and document priority
These terms apply to every visit to the site and to every account, deposit, withdrawal and bet. An “account” is the betting account registered in your name; a “bet” is a wager we have accepted and confirmed with a bet number; “available balance” is money in your account that is not tied to an open bet or a processing withdrawal.
The documents that apply to you are these Terms and Conditions, the Betting Rules, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, together with the terms of any offer you opt in to on the Promotions page. If they conflict, this order applies: a specific rule in the Betting Rules for a bet type or sport, then these terms, then the terms of an individual offer. The Privacy Policy alone governs how we handle personal information.
3. Eligibility and territorial restrictions
You must be 18 or over to open an account, deposit or bet. We do not open accounts for anyone under 18 and close any account we find belongs to a minor.
You can open an account only if you live in a country listed in the registration form and it is lawful for you to bet with us from where you are. You may not use the site from a place where online betting with a licensed Australian bookmaker is prohibited.
You may hold only one account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold or transferred. You cannot open an account if you are registered with BetStop, are self-excluded with us, or are a person who is barred from betting by law (for example, through your role in a racing or sporting event).
4. Registration, identity verification and ongoing checks
We complete the applicable customer identification and verification procedures before creating an online wagering account or providing a designated service. We may request additional information or documents afterwards to meet our ongoing legal and regulatory obligations.
During sign-up we check your name, date of birth and residential address against independent sources. Your account is created only once that check succeeds. If it cannot be completed, we tell you what is missing and do not open the account.
After your account opens we may repeat or extend these checks — for example when your details change, when a withdrawal or activity pattern requires it, or when the law requires enhanced checks. While a further check is in progress we may pause deposits, withdrawals or betting and tell you why, unless the law prevents us from explaining.
5. Account security and prohibited conduct
Keep your password private and use one you don’t use elsewhere. Tell us straight away through the contact form or at info@betprofessor.co if you think someone else has accessed your account; we will lock it and review recent activity with you.
You must not: use another person’s identity or payment method; bet on an event you can influence or have inside information about; collude with others or use software or automated tools to place bets; exploit an obvious error; or use the site for money laundering or any other unlawful purpose.
Some details — your name, date of birth and verified email — are locked once checked. Contact us to change them; we may ask for documents.
6. Deposits, payments and withdrawals
- Currency: your account is held in Australian dollars (AUD). Amounts are shown in A$.
- Deposit methods: debit card, PayID and BPAY. Credit cards are not accepted for online betting in Australia, in line with the Interactive Gambling Act credit card ban.
- Withdrawal methods: bank transfer and PayID to an account in your name.
- Third-party payments: every deposit and withdrawal must use a method held in your own name. We return payments from anyone else to their source.
- Minimums, maximums and fees: shown in the wallet for each method before you confirm. Deposits are free; a PayID withdrawal has a A$1.50 fee, and bank transfer withdrawals are free. If a fee changes, the wallet shows it before you confirm a payment.
A deposit counts towards your available balance only once the payment provider confirms it. Card and PayID deposits are usually confirmed within a minute; BPAY takes 1–2 business days.
Withdrawals need a verified account. Our processing time and your bank’s time are separate: we review and release a withdrawal while it shows as “Processing”, and the time shown in the wallet for each method (PayID within 2 hours, bank transfer 1–3 business days) is the usual total once released. Your bank may take longer, especially over weekends and public holidays. While a withdrawal is still processing you can cancel it in the wallet, and the money returns to your available balance.
We may delay a deposit or withdrawal if a further identity check is needed, if a payment looks unauthorised, or if the law requires us to. We will tell you the reason and what we need from you, unless the law prevents us from explaining.
If money reaches your account in error — for example a duplicated deposit or a payment credited twice — we will tell you and correct your balance. If you have already used it, we will agree with you how it is repaid. A charge-back or reversed payment is handled the same way.
If your account is suspended or closed, your available balance remains yours and is paid to a verified method in your name once any check the law requires is complete.
7. Placing, accepting and settling bets
You can place bets online through the site before an event starts. We do not take bets in play or by phone. A bet is accepted only when you receive a receipt with a bet number; until then it can be declined — for example if a price has changed, a market has closed, or a limit applies.
Prices and availability are confirmed by our servers at the moment of acceptance. A price shown on screen is an indication, not an offer. Accepted bets are settled on the official result from the body that controls the event, as set out in the Betting Rules, which also cover draws, dead heats, scratched runners and non-participating players, Multis and combined bets.
We aim to settle a bet within an hour of the official result being declared. If the official body changes a result within the time its own rules allow, we re-settle the bet and the change appears in the bet’s history. We do not re-settle on any other ground.
8. Errors, cancellations and interrupted events
If an event is cancelled, abandoned or postponed beyond the time set in the Betting Rules, bets on it are void and stakes are returned, unless the market was already decided.
An obvious error is one that a reasonable person would recognise as a mistake, such as a price that is clearly out of line with the market at the time, a price offered after the result was known, or a market that shows the wrong event or participant. If a bet was accepted because of an obvious error, we may settle it at the correct price we would have offered at that time or, where no such price existed, void it and return the stake. We do not change the result of a bet on any other ground.
If we correct or void a bet, we notify you by email and in My Bets, explaining what changed and why. You can dispute the decision under the Complaints section below.
We may suspend a market where the law or the integrity of an event requires it — for example when official information is unavailable or we suspect manipulation. Bets accepted before the suspension stand unless they are affected by an obvious error.
9. Promotions and bonus policy
We do not offer credit, a voucher, a reward or any other benefit as an inducement to open an account, to refer someone else, or to keep an account open after you have asked to close it. We do not send offers to self-excluded customers or anyone registered with BetStop.
Our current offers change how and when markets are available — for example earlier fixed prices — and do not add money or bonus bets to your account. Each offer has its own page on Promotions with its terms, which say:
- who can take part, including any identity-verification requirement, and where the offer is available;
- whether you need to opt in — offers that need it start only after you press “Opt in”;
- the start and end date, and any deadline for using the offer;
- which bets qualify, including any minimum price, bet type or excluded market;
- whether any bonus bet stake is returned with winnings (if a future offer includes a bonus bet, its stake is not included in the return unless the offer says otherwise);
- how any winnings can be withdrawn — winnings from an offer are added to your available balance and can be withdrawn like any other money, with no turnover requirement unless the offer’s own terms clearly state one;
- what happens if a qualifying bet is void or cancelled — the offer does not apply to that bet, and you may use it on another qualifying bet while the offer is open.
We may withdraw an offer from an account, or decline to pay its benefit, only for abuse: opening or using more than one account, using another person’s identity or payment method, acting together with others to guarantee a return, or breaching the offer’s terms. We will tell you which ground applies and why, and you can dispute it under the Complaints section.
10. Responsible gambling, limits and BetStop
You can set a daily, weekly or monthly deposit limit, take a time-out or self-exclude at any time on the Responsible Gambling page. A lower limit applies immediately; a higher limit takes effect after 7 days.
- Closing your account ends your relationship with us. You can ask us to reopen it later, after our usual checks.
- A time-out pauses betting, deposits and offers for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. It cannot be ended early, and your account reopens automatically at the end.
- Self-exclusion closes your account to betting, deposits and offers for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years. It cannot be reversed early, and we stop all marketing to you for the whole period.
- BetStop, the National Self-Exclusion Register (betstop.gov.au), excludes you from all licensed Australian online and phone wagering providers at once, for 3 months up to permanently.
Once you are registered with BetStop, licensed Australian wagering operators — including us — must not open an account for you, accept a bet from you, or send you marketing. When we learn of your registration we close any account you hold, stop all marketing straight away, and remove you from our mailing and SMS lists.
When an account is closed for self-exclusion or BetStop, bets already accepted are settled under the Betting Rules (or void if the event has not started, where the Betting Rules allow), and your available balance is paid to a verified method in your name. You don’t need to ask: we contact you to arrange it.
Our responsible gambling team handles limits, exclusions and BetStop matters: contact them through the contact form or at info@betprofessor.co. Free, confidential support is available from Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858 and at gamblinghelponline.org.au.
11. Suspension, closure and inactive accounts
We may suspend an account temporarily while we complete an identity or payment check, investigate a suspected breach of these terms, or when the law requires it. We may close an account permanently for fraud, use of another person’s identity, betting by a person not allowed to bet, repeated serious breaches of these terms, or when the law requires it.
We tell you when we suspend or close your account and why, unless the law prevents us from explaining (for example, during an anti-money-laundering investigation). You can ask us to review the decision under the Complaints section.
When an account is suspended, bets already accepted stand and are settled normally; new bets and deposits are paused. When an account is closed, open bets are settled under the Betting Rules and your available balance is paid to a verified method in your name. You can close your account at any time through the contact form.
An account is inactive if there has been no log-in for 12 consecutive months. We do not charge a fee for inactivity. Before taking any step we try to contact you using the details on file. If we cannot reach you and a balance remains, we keep it in your name; if it stays unclaimed, we deal with it as unclaimed money under the applicable law, and you can still claim it afterwards.
12. Rights, obligations and liability
Your obligations: give us accurate and up-to-date information, keep your login details secure, tell us promptly about any unauthorised access, and use the site lawfully and for your own personal betting.
Our obligations: keep your balance and bets recorded accurately, settle accepted bets under the Betting Rules, pay withdrawals you are entitled to, protect your information as the Privacy Policy describes, and review every complaint you raise.
If the site or a payment provider is unavailable — for example because of an outage, a connectivity problem or a similar event — bets already accepted stand and are settled normally once service resumes; new bets simply aren’t accepted while the fault lasts. If a fault affects a bet we had already accepted or your balance, we correct it and tell you.
If someone accessed your account without authority and you told us promptly, we investigate and restore any loss caused by our failure to protect the account. We are not responsible for losses caused by you sharing your login details or not telling us about a compromise you were aware of.
If we make an error in your balance or bet record, we correct it and tell you.
Nothing in these terms removes a right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or another law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any limit on our liability applies only to the extent the law allows.
13. Privacy and marketing preferences
We handle your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy, and use cookies and local storage as described in the Cookie Policy.
Marketing by email or SMS is off unless you turn it on. You can change your choice at any time in your account or through the contact form, and every marketing message includes a way to unsubscribe. We do not send marketing to self-excluded customers or to anyone registered with BetStop.
14. Complaints and dispute resolution
If something has gone wrong, contact us first at info@betprofessor.co or through the contact form. Please include:
- your full name and the email address registered on your account;
- the bet number or transaction number involved;
- what happened, when, and what outcome you are asking for;
- any screenshots or documents that support your complaint.
We confirm we have received your complaint within 2 business days and give you a full written response within 14 days. If we need more time — for example because we are waiting for an official result or a payment provider — we tell you before the 14 days are up, explain why, and give you a new date.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can take the matter to the right external body:
| Type of complaint | Where to take it |
|---|---|
| Our terms, prices or conduct as a racing bookmaker | Racing Victoria |
| Our compliance with Victorian gambling law or our licence conditions | Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) |
| A breach of BetStop obligations | BetStop (administered by the ACMA) |
| A breach of the Interactive Gambling Act, such as the credit card ban | Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) |
| How we handle your personal information | Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) |
We will name the body that applies in our response.
15. Changes, notices, governing law and contact details
We tell you about a material change to these terms by email and on the site at least 14 days before it takes effect, and show the new effective date at the top of this page. Bets accepted before the change are settled under the terms and rules that applied when you placed them. If you don’t accept a change, you can close your account before it takes effect.
We send notices to the email address on your account; you send notices to us at info@betprofessor.co.
These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia, where the operator is licensed, and the courts there have jurisdiction.

betprofessor.co is operated by Giant Bet Pty Ltd.
Australian Business Number (ABN): 80 667 202 806
Australian Company Number (ACN): 667 202 806
Licensing authority:
Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC)
Licence number:
Licence VIC-BM-2023-0461
This policy explains what personal information Giant Bet Pty Ltd collects through BetProfessor (betprofessor.co), how we collect, hold, use and disclose it, and the choices you have. It follows the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988.
1. About this policy and the legal operator
BetProfessor is operated by Giant Bet Pty Ltd (ABN 80 667 202 806, ACN 667 202 806), which is responsible for the personal information described here. This policy applies to the website, your account and your contact with us.
2. Personal information we collect
- Account details: name, date of birth, email address, mobile number and residential address.
- Identity verification: the results of checks against independent sources and, where a further check is needed, the documents you provide.
- Payment details: the payment method you use (for example the last four digits of a card, a PayID or the bank account for withdrawals). We do not store full card numbers.
- Betting and account activity: bets, transactions, balances, deposit limits, time-outs, self-exclusion and BetStop status.
- Technical information: IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and browser type, and a history of sign-ins and active sessions.
- Communications: messages you send through the contact form or by email, and our replies. We do not offer telephone support, so we do not record calls.
- Marketing choices: whether you have opted in to email or SMS offers and any later opt-out.
- Risk and integrity information: alerts from our fraud and integrity checks and their outcome.
3. How and from whom we collect it
Most information comes from you — when you register, update your details, make a payment, bet or contact us. Some comes from your use of the site (technical and activity information). The rest comes from identity-verification providers and data sources used for the checks described in our Terms, from payment providers when a payment is made or reversed, and from BetStop when we check whether you are registered.
4. Why we collect, hold, use and disclose it
- To register and maintain your account.
- To verify your age and identity and confirm we are allowed to serve you.
- To accept and settle bets.
- To process payments and refunds and to prevent financial crime.
- To provide responsible gambling tools and apply self-exclusion and BetStop.
- To keep the service secure, investigate breaches and resolve disputes.
- To meet reporting obligations to regulators and AUSTRAC.
- To send offers, but only if you have opted in.
We do not use analytics or advertising tools at present. If that changes, we will update this policy and the Cookie Policy first.
5. Identity verification, fraud prevention and responsible gambling
We must verify your identity before opening your account under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006. We check the details you give us against independent sources and keep the result. Where we see signs of fraud, money laundering or gambling harm, we may ask you for more information, pause activity on the account, or contact you about support options.
6. Marketing and communication preferences
Marketing by email and SMS is off unless you turn it on, and you can turn it off at any time in your account, through the contact form, or using the unsubscribe link in any message. If you opt out, self-exclude or register with BetStop, we keep a record so we don’t contact you again. Service messages — such as receipts, security alerts and changes to our terms — are not marketing and are always sent.
7. Cookies, analytics and tracking technologies
We use cookies and other browser technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. These technologies may support authentication, security, user preferences and the betslip. The categories of information stored, their purposes and their retention periods are described in that policy.
We have checked how the site works: we do not store passwords or payment details in cookies or in your browser’s local storage. The sign-in cookie holds only a random session identifier; the security token that protects forms is kept on our server. We do not use advertising pixels, session recording or cross-site tracking.
8. Disclosure to service providers and other recipients
We disclose personal information only for the purposes above, to:
- service providers who help us run BetProfessor — hosting and backups, identity verification, payment processing, email and SMS delivery and customer support tools;
- related companies of Giant Bet Pty Ltd, where they provide services to us;
- auditors, lawyers and other professional advisers;
- dispute bodies such as Racing Victoria or BetStop, when a complaint is referred to them;
- regulators, AUSTRAC, law enforcement and other authorities, where the law requires or allows it;
- a prospective buyer of the business, under confidentiality, if the business were sold or restructured.
We do not sell personal information and do not share it with advertising or analytics platforms.
9. Overseas disclosures and storage locations
Some providers that help us run the service — for hosting and backups, identity verification, payment processing and email delivery — and their support staff may store or access personal information outside Australia. Before we use such a provider we assess where it holds and accesses information, and we require it by contract to handle the information consistently with the APPs.
You can ask our privacy contact at info@betprofessor.co for the current list of providers that hold or access information overseas and the countries where they are located.
10. Security and data breach response
We protect personal information with access controls for our staff and contractors, encrypted connections (HTTPS) between your browser and our servers, security requirements for the providers we use, and monitoring of our systems. Changes to your account require an active signed-in session and a security token.
If we suspect a data breach, we act quickly to contain it and assess the risk. Where the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires it, we notify the affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), and tell you what you can do to protect yourself.
11. Retention, deletion and de-identification
We keep different categories of information for different periods. Closing your account does not mean all records are deleted immediately; when information is no longer needed and no law requires us to keep it, we destroy or de-identify it.
| Category | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Account details and identity verification | 7 years after your account closes, as the AML/CTF Act requires. |
| Bets and financial transactions | 7 years after the bet or transaction, to meet AML/CTF, wagering and tax record-keeping rules. |
| Correspondence and complaints | 2 years after the matter is closed, or longer while a related dispute or claim is open. |
| Security and sign-in logs | 12 months, or longer if needed for an investigation in progress. |
| Marketing preferences | Your consent or opt-out record is kept while your account is open and for 7 years after; an opt-out, self-exclusion or BetStop record is kept so that we don’t contact you again. |
| Cookies and browser identifiers | As listed in the Cookie Policy. |
| Backups | Overwritten in our normal backup cycle; access is restricted, and deleted information disappears from backups when the cycle completes. |
12. Access, correction and other applicable rights
You can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing info@betprofessor.co or using the contact form. To protect your account, we ask you to send the request from your registered email address or confirm your identity in another way.
We respond within 30 days. If we refuse or limit access or correction, we explain why in writing and tell you how to complain. You can also ask us to delete information; we will do so unless the law requires us to keep it, in which case we explain what we must keep and for how long.
You can change your marketing choices at any time in your account.
13. Children and age restrictions
Our services are for adults only. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18; if we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we close it and delete the information we are allowed to delete.
14. Privacy complaints
If you think we have mishandled your information, contact our privacy contact at info@betprofessor.co with a description of the problem and what you would like us to do. We acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days, investigate it — which may include asking you for more information — and give you a written response within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
15. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we publish the new version here with a new effective date and, for a material change, tell you by email before it applies.
16. Privacy contact details
Privacy contact, Giant Bet Pty Ltd (ABN 80 667 202 806), email: info@betprofessor.co.
17. Jurisdiction-specific supplements, where applicable
We offer our services only to residents of the countries listed in our registration form and do not offer them to, or monitor, people in the European Union or the United Kingdom. The GDPR therefore does not currently apply to our processing. Customers in New Zealand also have the rights given by the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. If our services or the law change, we will add a supplement here.

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies Giant Bet Pty Ltd, the operator of BetProfessor (betprofessor.co), uses, why, and how you can control them. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.
1. Operator, scope, effective date and privacy contact
This policy applies to betprofessor.co. Version 1.0, effective 22 October 2026.
Privacy and cookie enquiries: Giant Bet Pty Ltd, ABN 80 667 202 806, ACN 667 202 806. For questions about this Cookie Policy or the handling of your personal information, contact: info@betprofessor.co.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser to remember information between pages or visits, such as whether you are signed in.
Local storage stores information in your browser. Unlike cookies, its contents are not automatically attached to HTTP requests. Website scripts may read and transmit that information where required for the functions described in this policy.
3. Categories and purposes
- Essential: needed for the site to work — signing in, protecting forms, the age confirmation and remembering your cookie choice. These are always on.
- Functional: remember something you have asked the site to keep, such as your betslip. They are set only when you use that feature.
- Analytics: help us understand how the site is used. We do not currently use any.
- Preferences: remember display choices across visits. We do not currently use any beyond the functional items listed below.
The age_ok cookie remembers that you said you are 18 or over. It is not a check of your identity or age — that happens when you open an account.
4. Detailed cookie and storage register
This is the complete list of cookies and storage the site uses, checked against the site itself.
| Name / key | Technology | Provider / domain | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| app_session | Cookie (HttpOnly, Secure) | betprofessor.co (first party) | Authentication and session management: keeps you signed in and links your browser to the security token held on our server | Essential | Until you close your browser; ended earlier when you sign out |
| age_ok | Cookie | betprofessor.co (first party) | Remembers the age confirmation | Essential | 365 days |
| cookie_consent | Cookie | betprofessor.co (first party) | Stores your cookie choices | Essential | 180 days |
| bp.betslip | Local storage | betprofessor.co (first party) | Stores the selections, prices shown, stakes and price-change setting in your betslip | Functional | Until you press “Clear all” in the betslip (which empties it) or clear site data |
| bp.tog.history, bp.tog.insights | Local storage | betprofessor.co (first party) | Remember whether you turned on the Price history and Insights rows on race pages | Functional | Until you change the switch or clear site data |
| Analytics identifiers | — | — | None in use | Analytics | — |
Signing out ends the signed-in session on our server and deletes the app_session cookie.
5. Third-party technologies and disclosures
We do not currently use third-party cookies, advertising pixels, tag managers, session recording, live chat widgets, affiliate tracking or embedded third-party content. Fonts and images are served from our own domain. Links to other websites, such as BetStop or Gambling Help Online, take you to those sites, which have their own policies.
6. Cookie settings, refusal and withdrawal
A cookie banner asks for your choice the first time you visit, after you confirm your age. You can accept all, allow only the necessary ones, or choose analytics and preferences separately. Because we don’t currently use analytics or preference technologies, your choice is recorded and applied if we introduce them; nothing optional runs today.
You can review or change your choices at any time by selecting “Cookie settings” in the website footer.
Analytics and optional preference technologies remain disabled unless you enable them. Closing the banner or continuing to browse does not enable these optional technologies.
When you withdraw your consent, we stop the relevant optional technologies from operating on subsequent use of the website. We also remove the related stored identifiers where technically possible and explain any additional steps you may need to take. Information collected before you withdrew consent is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Browser controls and deletion
You can use your browser settings to view, delete or block cookies and other site data. Where supported by your browser, you can also remove local storage for this website.
Deleting site data may remove your saved betslip, display preferences and cookie choices, and may sign you out. If your stored cookie choice is removed, we may ask you to choose again.
Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in and other account functions from working.
For instructions, use the current help documentation provided by your browser, including Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Microsoft Edge.
8. Relationship with the Privacy Policy
The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through these technologies, including who we share it with, where it is stored and how long we keep it. If the two documents appear to differ, the Privacy Policy applies to personal information.
9. Changes and renewed choices
If we add a cookie or technology, we update the register above and the dates at the top of this policy. If we introduce analytics or preference technologies, they stay off until you turn them on, and we ask for your choice again where your earlier choice did not cover them.

Betting Rules
Version 1.1Last updated: 23 October 2026
These rules explain how bets are accepted and settled. They form part of the Terms and Conditions. Where a specific sport or racing rule conflicts with a general rule, the specific rule applies.
1. General
All prices are decimal. A return includes the stake: A$10 at 2.50 returns A$25.00, a profit of A$15.00.
Bets are taken online through the site before the event starts. We do not take in-play or phone bets.
A bet is accepted only on the prices shown on your receipt.
2. Price changes
If a price changes before acceptance, you are asked to accept the new price unless you have chosen in the betslip to accept higher prices or any change automatically.
3. Singles and Multis
A Single is one selection. A Multi combines selections from different, independent events; every leg must win. The total odds of a Multi are the product of the accepted prices.
If a leg of a Multi is void, it is removed and the Multi is settled on the remaining legs.
4. Same Game Multi and Same Race Multi
These combine outcomes from one match or one race and are priced as a single bet by our pricing service. The price is not the product of the individual prices.
If a leg is void, the bet is re-priced on the remaining legs where possible, or voided.
5. Racing: fixed prices
Win pays if the runner finishes first. Place pays if it finishes in the first three (in fields of eight or more) or the first two (in fields of five to seven).
Bets on a scratched runner are void and the stake is returned. Bets settle on the official result; a provisional result is not final.
If a race is abandoned, all bets on it are void.
6. Racing: exotics
Exacta, Quinella, Trifecta and First Four are pooled bets. Dividends are declared after the race. A flexi bet receives the declared dividend multiplied by the flexi percentage.
7. Dead heats
If two or more runners finish level for a paying position, the stake is divided by the number of runners in the dead heat and the full price is paid on that part. For example, A$10 at 4.00 on a runner that dead-heats for first with one other returns A$20.00.
8. Blended
A Blended bet pays at one price if any one of the selected runners wins.
9. Sports: main markets
Head to Head and Match Result are settled on the result at the end of normal time unless the market says otherwise. If a Head to Head market without a draw option ends in a draw, dead-heat rules apply: half the stake is paid at the full price and the other half is lost. Handicaps and totals include half-points so that ties cannot occur.
10. Player markets
A player who does not take part makes that selection void.
11. Postponed and cancelled events
If an event does not start within the time set for that sport, or is cancelled, bets are void unless the market was already decided.
12. Official results and settlement time
Racing bets settle on the official result declared by the racing control body (for example the stewards’ “all clear”); sports bets settle on the result published by the sport’s governing body or official competition organiser.
We aim to settle a bet within an hour of the official result. If the official result is not available yet, the bet stays open until it is.
13. Resettlement
If a result is changed by the official body after settlement within the period its own rules allow, bets are re-settled and the change appears in the bet’s history. We do not re-settle for any other reason.
14. Obvious errors
An obvious error is a price clearly out of line with the market at the time, a price offered after the result was known, or a market showing the wrong event or participant. A bet accepted because of an obvious error is settled at the correct price we would have offered at that time or, if there was none, voided with the stake returned.
We notify you by email and in My Bets when we correct or void a bet, with the reason. You can dispute the decision through the complaints process in the Terms.
15. Related outcomes
Selections that depend on each other cannot be combined in a standard Multi. Use a Same Game Multi or Same Race Multi instead, where the pricing service accounts for the link between outcomes.
16. Limits
The most you can stake on one bet is shown when you try to exceed it. Limits may vary by market.
